The Sexy Minnow, from Xcite Baits, features a solid head, which holds a hook or screwlock much better than the cheaper baits with hollow heads. The head also features ultra realistic 3D eyes. The body of the bait is hollow which aids in the floatability and swimming action. The hollow body section also helps get better hooksets. The tail is solid like the head. A solid head and tail increases the bait's durability so you can catch more fish with each bait. Another huge advantage of the Sexy Minnow is no overwhelming solvent paint smells. We have noticed that some of the brands you can buy at the big box stores (which are made in China) have a strong odor....not these though! Fish the Sexy Minnow with a 4/0 - 6/0 weighted wide gap hook. My favorite setup for clear water is with a 1/4 ounce Slingblade Flutter from Swarming Hornet lures.
